This version of the Abbey Platform bed adds an upholstered panel to the headboard in place of wood. The panel is removable for reupholstery when necessary. The crest rail of the Abbey bed is sculpted with carved and bundled reeds and ribbon scrolls that flow into carved acanthus leaves. As a stunning example of Councill's attention to detail, the posts have carved, overlapping laurel leaves. The side and foot rails are shaped and molded. Inside (head to foot): 86.5".
